There’s so much happening in the Grande Ronde community. You just have to know where to look and how. And at LaGrandeAlive.tv, we do a lot of looking with our camera lens. We look at people, projects, ideas, places, locations, businesses. We talk with local personalities and just plain folk to see what they care about and what makes them tick. We can let you know where you can buy the best donut in the valley, or at least where we think to anyways. In shows like Coffee With Will and the EO People Project, we look into local people’s lives either creatively or just in a good-old conversation over coffee. In shows like Adventures in Eastern Oregon and Travel Tramps, we travel around Eastern Oregon and the whole world with local people who you know and love who love to do the same. In our Community Interest pieces, we explore churches, businesses, events and other happenings around the valley that you too may be interested. • Community Interest Pieces – There’s a lot going on in the Grande Ronde Valley! And we want you to know about it too. Our community interest pieces highlight businesses, churches, events, culture, politics, and other items that may just be of interest to you who are invested in our little towns and valley. We do business and church showcases on local points of interest around the Grande Ronde Valley. We do creative event spotlights for plays, downtown events, and meet-and-greets. We do features on interesting people in the valley trying to do equally interesting things. • Adventures In Eastern Oregon — In Adventures In Eastern Oregon, Eric Valentine, Will Bowman, and Jim Whitbeck talk about the great outdoors in Eastern Oregon. The show has a casual, conversational feel and is full of great information if you want to be more informed about Eastern Oregon hiking, backpacking, back-country skiing, and all the problem solving tools and strategies you may need during your own adventure in Eastern Oregon. Will, Jim, and Eric talk about GPS systems and footware, local hikes and backpacking trips, backcountry skiing routes, alternative hydration techniques and anything else practical for–like Will–the wannabe outdoorsman eager to learn the ins-and-outs of how to survive and enjoy the Eastern Oregon outdoors. • EO People Project — People Project videos are creative short videos that try to capture the essence of the person and what they care about in less than ten minutes.  Will Bowman, the director of the project, thinks that video and film has a unique ability to peer into people’s emotions and spirits the way no other medium can. While writing can capture emotion in wonderful ways, film can catch the quivver of someone’s eye as they talk about their dead father, the way they laugh and giggle a little bit when they talk about their kids, little things you wouldn’t otherwise be able to see as a person talks about their life and what they care about and love. Also, the People Project is founded on the basic assumption that human beings are all the same deep down–they are full of care and love and each human being’s life has a unique flavor that can be seen and understood, at least to a point, through art. With these two fundamental beliefs in hand, Will Bowman takes his camera out into Eastern Oregon with the mission of seeing people creatively through film. The People Projects are short and quick to the point, trying to boil the person down to their essence to be seen by the viewers of the video. • Stock Photos — Need some stock photos of the valley? We’ve got you covered. We host a range of images from the Grande Ronde Valley and Eastern Oregon in general free for you to use, with accreditation, of course. Any photo from this section can be used for any purpose provided LaGrandeAlive is given credit in the project.

• Travel Tramps With Alegre Travel – The ladies at Alegre Travel really love to travel! So far, they’ve gone to Vietnam, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, Peru and more. And they like to take other people with them. In Travel Tramps, Samantha LeBold casually chats with will and her fellow “tramps” about their tramping across the world: trips they’ve taken,  trips they’re going to take and everything else you’d like to know about their escapades across the world through her local travel agency Alegre Travel. In this show, you’ll hear about experiences in foreign countries, see pictures taken by travelers and Samantha herself, and hear about upcoming trips through Alegre Travel they’re planning to take.
